NEW DELHI: Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of its new, smart cameras across WB, ST, ES and DV series. The new launches include WB100 with a 26x High Zoom lens; ST200F and DV300F with Wi-Fi connectivity and ST66; DV100; and ES90. All models are compact in size and deliver flawless images.
DualView Samsung DV300F is a 16 Megapixel camera, with a 1.5-inch front LCD screen display for easier self-portraits, a 3-inch rear LCD screen, a 25-mm wide angle lens, an impressive 5x optical zoom with OIS and a F2.5 lens that delivers professional quality images even in dim light. The camera also offers a 720p HD video recording at 30 frames-per-second, a number of special effects and Smart Auto feature which automatically adjusts the camera's settings. Motion Photo, Picture in Picture and Split Shot allow users to create and share images and videos instantly.
5) Samsung ST66 digital camera boasts of a 16.1 megapixel image sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens in a brushed metal body. Features of the camera include a 2.7-inch display on the rear panel, Live Panorama function and Smart Auto 2.0 mode, which has a variety of scene modes and identifies one that is closest to the current conditions. It, then, configures the camera appropriately, thus keeping things simple for inexperienced photographers.
The ST66 has Magic Frame function which overlays image on a background, with options like Wall Art, Full Moon, Magazine, and Holiday. It also has Picture-in-Picture mode that lets users overlay one shot on another, choose an area where the second image should be visible. Funny Face function of Samsung ST66 uses the face detection capabilities to locate facial features and then uses 5 different ways to warp them in real time on the live preview. By using the multi-controller on the camera's rear, users can create a variety of effects.
Along with still image capture, the Samsung ST66 can also record high definition movies. Videos are saved at 720p resolution at 30 frames per second. The ST200F is priced at Rs.12,400, whereas the ST66 is available for Rs7,900.

1) Samsung's WB100 camera comes with a 16 megapixel image sensor, 26x Optical High Zoom lens and 22.3-mm ultra wide-angle lens. Photographers who wish to capture moving images will be assisted by Samsung's Dual Image Stabilisation (OIS + DIS) function that compensates for unsteady photographs.
The camera has 3D photo capture and Live Panorama Mode as well as high-definition 720/30p HD video capturing capability. It also comes with Smart Filter and Magic Frame creative features, along with Samsung's long-zoom camera, which has a metallic design and soft hand grip. Available at Rs 14,490, the WB100 uses AA batteries instead of Li-ion battery.

2) Samsung DV300F is the first DualView camera from Samsung to feature built-in Wi-Fi functionality. With built-in Wi-Fi, users can upload pictures on Facebook, Picasa etc, or e-mail them directly from the camera. In addition, images can be directly sent to smartphones and tablet wirelessly using Samsung Mobile Link or Auto Backup function. The integrated free storage space from Samsung's AllShare Play and Microsoft Sky Drive allows users to access photos from any place.

4) The ST200F is a compact camera with 10x optical zoom lens along with a 16 megapixel CCD image sensor and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Available in black and silver colours, it has a durable metal body and houses a 3.0-inch TFT LCD display, HD video camera (720p), USB 2.0 interface, Optical image stabilisation, and a host of exposure modes.
The top plate of the camera has the power button, microphone, shutter release, and zoom toggle. The ST200F's WiFi connectivity allows it to push content to social media sharing sites or directly online via e-mail. The camera can also integrate with smartphones, using them as a combination remote viewfinder, shutter release, and controller. On-screen editing options, Motion Capture and Live Panorama have also been integrated in this camera. For storage, this device includes 16 MB of internal memory and supports microSD cards (up to 64 GB with microSDXC).
